3rd Production Brief

A man who may have tourettes syndrome causes a public scene. By standers exchange looks.
Pay particular attention to eyeline matches and ensure accurate depiction of the condition.

My initial thoughts on this piece were quite mixed. As interesting as this brief may be, it does provide a challenge in order to create something that is believable, and as the brief states 'an accurate representation.'

I have several ideas as to what I would like this film to come out like. Considering it is essentially a practise for our final project, I think it is a given that it will be similar in style to that one. Because of this, I feel that we will take the black comedy road, and concentrate on trying to make light out of a condition that is quite awful if you stop to think about it.

It will be necessary to make suitable research into the condition to see how far we can push this, without it falling into the realms of ridicule. By giving an accurate depiction of the condition, I think it will in fact make the film more enjoyable, and not just be a series of shouting things out in the middle of a busy street.
