3rd Production First Script

Rather oddly, my original idea for this script came from listening to this piece of music.

I think the mood that this piece of music conjures is one of the most fascinating and flowing I have ever felt. There's so many dynamics to it each serving a purpose, and each carry the piece together as a wonderful journey. With fluttering light notes filling the air, and a thunderous pounding of the drum deep in the mix, I think it describes a journey with no words.
Ups and downs, and highs and lows, it is a sonic rollercoaster.

As a result, I wanted to create something along the lines of a journey, with turns not knowing how it bodes. Because of the nature of our brief, I felt that the medieval mood could be applied to the plot. Not necessarily setting it in that time period, but certainly in a time where Tourette's Syndrome would be consider the work of the Devil. Because of this, I wanted to form a chase of some sort, and like the music, have a series of twists and turns - the character not knowing if he would escape or not, despair and joy, anxiety and relief.

The script is still very rough, and will likely need a lot of changes, but it is definitely an idea I would like to work on.

The scipt is of course in need of a lot of tweaking, but I think that there are several strong points to it. I think the characterisation of Duke Gosbeck is great. I love the idea of some kind of overlord, high in power, and in control. I also like the concept of Duke Gosbeck being victorious at the end of the film. Seeing the villainous characters as the victors has always been gripping.
I also like the idea of filming a lot of this outside in the open. I think that we could achieve some beautiful imagery and make something that is striking.
